Dec. 19th and 20th: Advent Reflections for Women and Men
Advent is a special time of grace in which, if we give permission, the Lord works on our hearts, makes us more truly ourselves, draws us closer in relationship with him, and enables us to live in better harmony with one another. Amidst the anticipation, excitement and increased hustle and bustle of Christmas preparations and holiday parties, Advent and its quiet potential as a rich source of grace can be overshadowed, and we risk arriving at the stable of Bethlehem on Christmas Day with hearts that are not ready to provide the infant Jesus with a place to rest.
We therefore invite all of you to an Advent reflection this year:
For women: Dec. 19th at 10:00 am in the Church (preacher Fr. John Patrick)
For men: Dec. 20th at 7:00 pm in the Church (preacher Fr. Linus)
Consider carving out this time to be with the Lord, so he can prepare your heart to receive all he wants to give you on Christmas Day!
