The St. Patrick Children’s Choir is open to any student in the third through eighth grades currently a member of the parish. The Children’s Choir generally sings the second Sunday of each during the 9:30 a.m. Mass, Lessons and Carols, Christmas Eve 4:00 p.m. Mass, other parish celebrations, and community events. In addition to singing at parish liturgies, those children in the parish school will sing once a month during the Wednesday 9:10 a.m. School Mass. Choir members will deepen their faith through the singing of age-appropriate texts and selections from the treasury of Catholic sacred music. They will grow as music ministers, leading the community to a full and more active participation in the liturgy. In addition to choral singing, selected students can be cantors and others will rotate through percussion instruments and tone chimes to further enhance their musical experience.
